Huge, fragrant, vase-like flowers almost double-dare winter to end their beauty. As the flowers mature, the pink coloration in the petals becomes a very prominent deep rose, surrounding a white base with orange anthers. Originally found in Syria and Iran, the species was collected by J.F.N Bornmuller, an intrepid horticultural explorer.
