Don't be fooled by the name, this allium selection provides interest beyond summer and into fall and winter. Large globes of lavender-blue sterile flowers top 18 inch stems throughout the summer. Glossy, dark green grass-like foliage remains attractive all season, then turns yellow in fall. Flowerheads and stems dry to a reddish-brown hue and last well into winter. Drought tolerant once established.
